Congrats alager. ********** On a down note, I don't believe it... For I think the first time in my life I am disappointed by a Pearl Jam album. It was released yesterday, and is a Target exclusive, in that it will never be sold anywhere but at Target, publicly. Weird. But besides marketing issues, the album is some sort of new twist in their musical style where it's upbeat and "influenced" by (can ya believe it?) Pop, and New Wave, as the story goes. Well, it's very 'pop' alright. And it quite stinks! However, critics near and afar are giving the album high praise, practically more than most of their other albums that have been. I do not understand this ...but....maybe I do. The music industry and critics are just a bunch of ****-ing zombies whose brains are entranced by Pop hooplah out there. Next thing ya know, they'll win a shitload of awards for it or somewthing. uggh. Granted one or two songs on there are catchy, but for the album as a whole there is only one upside I can conjure...The album just may be another piece of their everlasting rebellious nature in that it's a revelation of all the music industry bull shit that persists out there. I pray and I pray very hard that their next album (as I know there will be one) does not sound like this praised piece of shit. So, therefore, my review, in three words... Transformed. Sucky. Revelating. help me make it through the night.

I'm very pleased for you, alager. So that means that when the Kiwis are next over here playing rugby or cricket, you'll obviously be supporting the Poms and singing "Land of Hope and Glory" and/or "Jerusalem" at the top of your voice............

After four more rounds of my new PJ album, it isn't as bad as I criticized it before. Hmm, maybe music critics listen 4 or 5 times over as well before they judge. Isn't that weird how a sucky sounding album will all of a sudden grow on you and then get good? It happens very seldomly with me, so this experience caught me off guard.

Listening to the radio...just heard Dolly sing I Will Always Love You but not the proper version...a weird version, didn't like it. I'd like to learn the guitar but I don't think I have the attention span...I half started a few times but then gave up...

I was infuriated today at work because they informed me they're instituting their searches policy. Meaning they require that all their employees be searched before they can leave.
I'm even more enraged by the fact that I might've given them the approval to do so, because according to the handbook the fact that they can search you is cross-referenced in the Employee Awareness Form, even worse is that when they hire you, THEN give you the book to read. Which totally sucks because if I had known before they were going to search me I wouldn't never signed up to work there.
I'm going to quit, or get fired. Either way I'm outta there.
Cracker Barrel by far has the worst employee policies. I'm not even allowed to talk about it either, that can warrant being terminated. I can't eat there anymore, heck, I can't even bring myself to recommend it to people.

Yeah, it sucks. Tomorrow is payday so I'm planning on having a talk with the general manager about it. I just can't tolerate that. I don't like the insinuation that I'm a thief. It's incredibly insulting, at a place you work no less!! Goodness! I'm going to try to be calm about it, I'm going to simply say that I cannot in good conscience work for a place that requires its' employees to be searched. What I don't get is that they say they're doing it to protect you. . how is that? I've never done anything to deserve getting my person and bags searched. It's ridiculous.

I never eat there. ^ Never had the slightest bit of interest. You have just added to that. Might customers get searched next? BTW, how and why does this place exist?
