Tickets went on sale 15 minutes ago and I'm a little surprised about the wide range of prices. I was thinking of going but the best seats seem to be over $500. Is this a special event or is it the CYH as headliners?

By the look of it - it's just the Hounds.
This is Emily's home ground, and it's guaranteed to attract some long time fans. (But $500 just amazes me!)

Aren't those the VIP tickets? If they are, I'm sure they'll include something other than just the seats themselves. Perhaps a meet & greet and such? Swag bag?

The charity is founded by Radney Foster (a long time friend, who wrote "Godspeed").
It is in memory of his late father, an attorney, who died in 2008. It provides scholarships for needy children at St Luke's Episcopal School.
A number of other friends are getting involved in support, including the Bellamy Brothers, Pat Green, Randy Rogers, Joe Ely, and Butch Hancock.
As far as I can tell, the idea is for artists to appear separately, as and when they can - rather than a big concert like the Fire Relief one. (This is more an intimate, community based charity)
The cheapest admission seems to be around $51 (but that is standing room). The higher priced admission includes seating at tables.

From the brief write-up for the forthcoming show on mysanantonio, com :
"The duo's sound is a testosterone-free take on Texas music, with string band echoes and the sisterly harmonies Chicks fans know so well."
