I just got word that the Napa show on October 1st has been cancelled. Bummer. I hope they are still coming to the Mountain Winery on the 29th to play before Emmylou.

Mmm......any ideas why at this time?? My first guess is lack of ticket sales because there were still good seats left.

I'm not so sure the tickets sales alone would encourage them to cancel the concert. Especially considering they're doing a show out there a few days before, they'd already be out there and ready to go. Maybe something came up and they needed to be home. Who knows with them.
On a side note, there were only about 60-70 people at my concert and they didn't cancel that one.

^ 60 to 70 people? That’s pathetic. No, that’s embarrassing. And a good reason to audition a new singer for the DCX.
Every time I listen to Sunny Sweeney’s ‘Heartbreakers Hall Of Fame’ I hear what the DCX could have been.

It is funny how small amounts of people turn up for their shows... but their album has sold pretty well considering ....

Yeah, well, who wants to pay $75 for a standing room only ticket to a concert of a relatively unknown band? Unless you're a big fan of the Chicks (and actually know who the CYH are) nobody else is going to go...

but their album has sold pretty well considering. Has it? I have no idea how well it did. I gave it a couple of spins and didn't like it. Well, one song.

Unless you're a big fan of the Chicks (and actually know who the CYH are) nobody else is going to go... EXACTLY! Miranda Lambert's tickets were $25!!!! And that's for a seating ticket about 10 rows back. These women seem to cancel more shows than anyone I know. Im sure with the DCX it was because of a lack of ticket sales but for goodness sake these girls were scheduled to play like 3 concerts this month! They talk so much how they love to tour but cancel half the dates. TO think that any fan would be optimistic and purchase a ticket anytime in the future would be truly stupid. Sorry but thats how I feel. They are starting to disappoint me once again.

I just can't fork out that kind of money anymore. If they were in SAC (or somewhere closer) as the DCX, then I would probably fork out $75.
