Easy Mac. 1 cup of easymac add water to the line, place in microwave for 3 mins, then add the cheese sauce. Stir, let it set for a mintue then eat. Hey! That's very close to my 2 pound bag of Lay's potato chips, bottle of Thousand Island dressing for dip and a 6 pack of ice cold Barley Pops that I have when nobody's at home but me.

god you must have high cholesterol! Beer kills cholesterol Billi..... ;D Actually, I'm doing better with it because venison is very low in the bad cholsterol and high in the good kind. I eat lot's of venison, ranch potatoes only once or twice a year and I have tuna and pickles for lunch almost every day (with Club crackers). My real vice is fried chicken dipped in barbeque sauce and fried potatoes and pull pork bar be que samiches. I do live in the South and you can't swing a stick without hitting a Bar Be Que joint and life just wouldn't be worth living without some kind of pork every now and then.

Pep you cook like me! thank goodness my hubby can cook or my poor kids would be sick of Easy Mac and Top Ramen pretty quickly!! Yeah, I've noticed the 2 southern boys are the best cooks on this damn board and it's called 'supper'. That looks like cast iron skillet corn bread TWC. Give me your recipe for that. I use the Jiffy corn muffin mix and melt a stick of BUTTER on it. I like the fried okra too. Not much on black eyed peas, but I could make do with pintos or white beans and a slice of onion. Oh. Here's another one that's actually good for you.... Sliced Cucumbers Cut up Vidalia Onion Salt and Black Pepper Completely cover them with white vinegar. Put em in the fridge until they're a little soft or Boil macaroni and forget the cheese Add a can of diced tomatoes Black Pepper to taste or 2 cans of French style green beans can of cooked mushrooms a few slices of Vidalia onions cut up Tiger Salt heat on stove and serve

That looks like cast iron skillet corn bread TWC. Give me your recipe for that. It was! I always cook cornbread in a cast iron skillet. And those were purple hull peas, not black eyed peas. CORNBREAD2 eggs slightly beaten 1 cup of milk* ¼ cup vegetable oil 1 ½ cups of Martha White Yellow Self-Rising Corn Meal Mix 1 cup Martha White All-Purpose Flour ¼ cup sugar Preheat oven to 450. Grease an 8 or 9 inch skillet. Put skillet in oven for about 5 minutes Combine all ingredients in order listed; stir until smooth Pour batter into prepared skillet Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown * Batter should be creamy and pourable. If batter seems too thick, add a little more liquid.

I'm not too big on collard greens either, but I love turnip greens and cornbread. They have to be eaten together, though. And no turnips. I also love me some Gumbo. I'll check out that recipe, drizz. That Gumbo recipe look yummy!

I've made that cornbread before TWC! The trick is the 2 eggs. One egg makes for dry cornbread.
KFC's Crockpot Chili
1 lb ground venison 2 cans chili beans 2 big cans (28 oz) or 3 small cans (16 oz) diced tomatoes 2 tsp Accent salt 1/4 cup more or less chili powder half a bottle of Tiger Sauce- 2 1/2 oz
add shredded cheese and a spoonful of sour cream on top
brown the burger add contents in crockpot and cook on high 1-2 hours or simmer awhile on low
The Tiger Sauce is spicy but not as much as straight cayenne or Louisiana Hot Sauce. You can add it to individual bowls if you like, but my kids like it. It won't make you breath fire.
I think we'll have that and grilled cheese sammiches tonight whilst Mrs. KFC is working

^^^ Grilled cheese sandwich my ass. That doesn't go with Chili. How 'bout a bowl of Fritos covered with chili and topped with shredded cheddar cheese? Umm good! I loves me a Frito Pie. And I was happy to read in your recipe that you put beans in your chili. Some people don't, but I swear by it. That's the only way to make good chili. I'm coming over for dinner! I've made that cornbread before TWC! The trick is the 2 eggs. One egg makes for dry cornbread. Then what did you want my recipe for? Ok, here's another one of my Cornbread recipes. And this one you can make a meal off of. TEX-MEX CORNBREAD1 egg lightly beaten 1 cup of Martha White Self-Rising Yellow Corn Meal Mix 1 can (8 ½ oz.) cream style corn ½ cup of milk 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 cup (4 oz.) of grated sharp cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons of chopped jalapeno peppers (or chopped green chilies) Preheat oven to 450 Grease an 8 inch skillet and put in oven for 5 minutes while combing all ingredients in order listed. Blend well and pour into skillet Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 to 9 servings depending on size. So moist you can eat it with a fork.

Sorry, couldn't tell by looking at the picture which recipe you used. You can't have too many cornbread recipes. I think Texas chili is meat only and Cincy style is beans only and not hot. I like meat and beans in mine as long as there's no kidney beans in it. I like the chili flavored pinto beans. Mrs. KFC brought the sour cream on top and grilled cheese sammiches to the marriage. I grew up with saltine crackers and chili. We do the Frito's thing too. Dang, I'm hungry! I better get started. But first, another recipe: Mrs. KFC's chicken puffs 2 cans of crescent rolls 1 10 oz. can of shredded chicken or boil a couple of breasts and shred your own 1 Granny Smith Apple 2 tsp Accent salt 2 tsp black pepper 8 oz cream cheese 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 soup can of milk 1. Mix shredded chicken, salt, pepper and cubed apples 2. Unroll crescent rolls as one piece and divide into squares (2 crescents make a square) 3. Place chicken and cream cheese mixture onto half of square, fold over and pinch open sides like a dumpling 4. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes 5. While puffs are baking, heat cream of chicken soup and milk in sauce pan until creamy 6. Pour sauce over chicken puffs when serving

QUICK VEGETABLE SOUPQuick Vegetable soup may soon become one of your favorites. It’s tasty and it’s quick to make. Many cooks commonly have all the ingredients on hand and could make it in a moments notice.2 (14 ½ ounce) cans of stewed tomatoes undrained 1 (8 ounce) can of tomato sauce 1 (12 oz.) package of frozen mixed vegetables *4 cups of water 4 beef flavored bouillon cubes A dash of black pepper I use Kroger Recipe Beginnings Frozen Vegetable Soup Mix (carrots, potatoes, corn, green beans, green peas, lima beans, okra, celery, onions). *I also add 4 to 6 potatoes and a half a bag of carrots plus 1/4 cup of frozen corn and 1/4 cup of Lima beans. Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil; cover and reduce heat to simmer, stirring occasionally until done. Prep time and cooking time totals 2 to 3 hours. Mix a tablespoon of flour to ¼ cup of water until smooth and pour in to soup during the last 30 minutes to slightly thicken the broth.

I haven't yet, but I'll try some. I use the same recipe except for the OE Cheese. I've been using shredded cheese and I use whatever I have in the fridge. For the Super Bowl I used a bag of Sharp Cheddar and half a bag of Mexican 4 Cheese, 2 lbs of sausage and 4 cups of Bisquik.
