I believe the "jiggle-free" ones used by TV crews cost several thousands of any currency worth having in your pocket! And weigh more than you would like to carry around unless paid to do it "The scheduled 90-lap race ended after 87 laps when the race hit the 2-hour time limit." .... whaattt? The weather looked good, the track looked OK - so were they all just not driving fast enough? It seems a very strange rule for a multi-lap race. Why not just cut it down to 10 laps and be done with it if the spectators get bored after a while? Most accidents tend to happen in the first few laps anyway. They could then spend an extra 2 hours before the next race doing whatever they would really prefer to be doing: buying merchandise, food, drinks, ogling the pit girls ...

Thanks for the info bob. My camera is now 'jiggle' free. I put a post-it note on it that say, "Stop moving the camera!". ;D I too found it odd to stop a race 3 laps before the end. A two hour race is by no means too long. I am suspicious that a television contract had something to do with that nonsense. ps No pit girls were ogled in the making of this video. The gals pictured above actually came out from the Patron tequila tent and offered to pose for the shot. At least I discovered that I don't automatically repel attractive women on sight. That usually occurs after conversation... Later, a very attractive woman walked by dressed to the nines. Since she was not obviously a part of the racing scene, I felt it impolite to take her photo. Yesterday, while researching the race, I discovered the non-race person whom I had non-photoed was Milka Duno Despite the fact that she was not dressed in obvious racing gear at the time, I still felt compelled to fire myself.

And so you should! And don't give up the day job until you can recognise the female #3 - whatever she's wearing ;D " ... while researching the race ..." Oh, yeah!

Thanks for that link to Nicola Butler, another Brit who seems to be able to win things and is unknown to probably 98% of the Brit population! We recognise the names of our sportsmen who regularly lose, of course, as they are well publicised What amazed me about young Nicola is that she's 16, and has been a pro for 2 years ... That guarantees her a place in some record books, I'd guess, as we've just raised the school-leaving age to 17, and it will become 18 in another year or so. No more Nicolas bunking maths classes to win Wakeboarding championships!

It was fun watching her and the others wake boarding. I just wish I had a bit of their agility.
I think I had Nicola down as South African, but it looks like she moved many years ago.
You're welcome for the link.
