I missed them on the Radio.............................................................bollocks again! How sad is it that we all have to mention it when their song is on the radio? lol...you've got a point! I get happy when I hear them on the XM station that I listen to, or when they're first on my Zune when I turn it on. I think my mom thought I was a bit nuts last time I was home. We were listening to the radio and WOS came on, I got all excited and turned the radio up. What can I say.

lol! I get so excited when I hear them on the radio too! Thats why I had to mention it! Although, I have taken to using my iPod radio transmitter and just jamming to DC tunes when I drive... instead of waiting for one of their songs to come on...

I missed them on the Radio.............................................................bollocks again! And again, Tony (probably)!!! Wogan played NRTMN a few minutes ago and rounded it off quite proudly with "The Dixie Chicks rebuffing George W Bush"! How sad is it that we all have to mention it when their song is on the radio? Quite right, Tony, but loads of people have called me "sad" over the years, so, as Nat might say, "I can take it" i can't stand Wogan's radio show Well, there's plenty of evidence on this board that you've got no taste, Ross ;D, so this doesn't surprise me in the least! And, of course, you're not an old fogey like wot I is!

After hearing that Radio 2 had redesigned their website and knowing that the Chicks had been played yesterday morning, I decided to take a quick look to see what might be there. Well this is where they were played yesterday: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jm2k6The picture there has probably been seen by most, but I don't recall seeing it before. Clicking on "Dixie Chicks" in the above link, the picture is enlarged and there is information about the group and links to information on the ladies individually. Sadly, this information is merely taken from the various wikipedia pages, but at least the info is there for anyone that might not know about them. Also there are links to BBC reviews of their latest albums. Unfortunately, if you click on "More Dixie Chicks releases", I see that they have The Neighbour down as an album released in 2007. Was this one kept VERY secret? Does anyboby have a copy of it so that I can add it to my collection please? It also includes links to the official site's homepage and dixiechicksfans.net. Sadly, though, no link to here. I feel an email coming on..... Edited: Email sent to the Beeb!

Edited: Email sent to the Beeb! Well done, my fellow Sir, Lord or whatever it is these days. A mere common or garden pleb, Lord Eagle! Anyway, here is the splendiferous automated response which the BBC took the trouble to send (surprise surprise): QUOTE Thank you for taking the time to send us your views. We appreciate all the feedback we receive. It isn't possible for us to respond individually to comments, so this is an automated message to let you know that we've read your feedback and will log the details so they can be reported back to the wider BBC (personal details are removed from BBC-wide reports). Reports are circulated daily to all BBC staff, including programme makers, commissioning editors and senior management, and the comments we receive play an important role in shaping our decisions. UNQUOTE I'm not going to stake my house on any changes being made by the Beeb, but I suppose that stranger things have happened at sea......

It would seem like a impossible task out here in Los Angeles. Clear Channel owns most if not all of the airwaves. Worth a try! BTW... love the message board here... Great job..
