I'm declaring victory over my local radio station! I have two country radio stations in town - don't ask, they essentially play the same thing. One of them I've completely given up on. The other, I think I've finally broken down. Awhile back, instead of allowing listeners to email in and request their song of choice, they put up a list that you have to choose from. WHAT?! Initially, there were NO Dixie Chicks songs. After multiple emails, they have now added 5 Dixie Chicks songs to their playlist. I'm sure that I alone did not do it, but it feels good. I wonder how many other people emailed in? There's hope for my town after all....

That is a great start. Atlanta has a long ways to go. So does Reno, and most of the rest of the US, but atleast there's a little light shinning through at the end of the tunnel!
