...on BBC Radio 2 (now, I think the BBC's only remaining weekly Country Music slot on national radio - though there are several regional ones.) Last week he played "Landslide". Today it was "Travelin' Soldier", which he played with a short commentary, marking the fifth anniversary of the "incident". If you'd like to hear the show , you can pick it up on the web all this week www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/bobharriscountry/playlist.shtmlAdded treats this week include Emmylou singing "Leavin' Louisiana In The Broad Daylight, more from new Roots favourite Kendel Carson - this time "disguised" as frontwoman of a Canadian band - and a featured studio session and interview with the great Kimmie Rhodes. Kimmie is another of the long list of singers from Lubbock - and like most of them, I guess, she took the "leave it" option. A lovely person and a great songwriter. There's a summary of her career here, for anyone interested: www.kimmierhodes.com/bio.html
