You may not necessarily know him by name, but you've probably heard a lot of his instrumental prowess. David Lindley, a long-time fixture in the Los Angeles music scene who has worked with, among others, Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt, has passed away at the age of 79:
Among his other credits, it's his fiddle work you hear on Linda's neo-bluegrass version of Neil Young's "Love Is A Rose".
