While I don't think anyone should expect a Diamond-selling (10 million copies) album out of this, merely having a million-selling album would go a long way towards (maybe) not so much silence the Right as to embolden their fans from wherever they come.

Still fans have been quick try to associate very specific lyrics from “Gaslighter” to Maines’ contentious divorce to actor Adrian Pasdar. Between the three women, they’ve had five divorces, so they said people shouldn’t read too literally into the words.
“I think people had it in their minds that this album is about one thing and one thing only, and it’s not,” said Maines. “People are jumping to conclusions.”
Wait, I'm confused. Didn't Natalie say the main focus on the album was her divorce? I understand that not every lyric of every song is going to be about Adrian. I didn't expect every song to be about the divorce. But how is Gaslighter the song not about Adrian? How can she suggest we jumped to conclusions for thinking Nat's divorce was a main focus for the album??
