I hope this isn't happening to any other prominent nightclubs around the country because of the pandemic, but The Troubadour, the West Hollywood nightclub that gave rise to the California country-rock movement in the late 1960s, as well as saw Elton John's first US performance almost a half century ago, has had to open a GoFundMe page just to stay in existence:
