Long-time New York folk/bluegrass session musician Eric Weissberg, whose banjo/guitar duet with Steve Mandell, "Dueling Banjos" (actually a cover of Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith and Don Reno's "Feudin' Banjos"), became a massive hit in early 1973 after its use in the classic 1972 Southern Gothic horror film classic DELIVERANCE, has passed away at the age of 80:
