Following announcements of cancellation of other music events (notably SXSW in Austin), the Academy of Country Music have announced the postponement of their award show (originally scheduled for April 5th in Las Vegas, with a CBS live TV broadcast)
They are now looking for a suitable date and venue in September. Voting by the members is already virtually complete, and presumably will stand - though the postponement of several months will mean the recordings being commemorated having a rather distant feel (the eligibility period was 2019). The new date is likely to be only a month before the CMA's event (the CMA's 2019 event was held earlier, and they will be working on a different eligibility period by then, potentially making the two sets of awards more than usually out of step - though the ACM do have a tradition of differentiating some of their awards from those in favour in Nashville.)
(As people have noted in threads discussing the Chicks, the spread of the virus is likely to have significant effects on what music events will take place - as just one example of the widespread consequences for life and activities in general)

I know for a fact that the Coachella and Stagecoach (the latter usually all-C&W) festivals, which were to happen in April at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, a three-hour drive east of Los Angeles, have been postponed until sometime in October because of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Coachella Valley. And even more, the 2020 summer schedule for the Hollywood Bowl, which is set to kick off on June 13th with an opening-night performance by no less than Brandi Carlile, might be in jeopardy.
Truly, everything is being turned upside down. We're all basically on lockdown at this moment, save for the paramount importance of the First Responders (Police; Fire Department; Paramedics; EMTs, etc.).

Well, we are experiencing a lockdown, too, here in Switzerland. This is a first ever for us and it will take some time to get used to such a development.
