I liked those three clips. Thank you Nedcfan. It is good to see them relaxed and laughing, especially in these difficult times...

Thanks for posting those, nedcfan! I've only had time to watch the first one so far - but I enjoyed that performance far more than I enjoyed the recorded version of "Gaslighter"! This is a band that really shines live. A bit dark to identify everyone, but I definitely saw Keith Sewell on acoustic guitar and support vocals, and Jimmy Paxson on drums, and I think I saw Glenn Fukunaga on bass - all those have played with the Chicks before - two of them for many years. (The keyboard player's name may click with some of you, but I'm afraid, offhand, I couldn't identify him in that video) Justin Weaver was there also I think. I came across the article below which mentioned that the keyboard player from Leftover Salmon is leaving them to go on tour with the Chicks. It looks like the same guy from the photo and Ellen performance. www.gratefulweb.com/articles/alo-leftover-salmon-fillmore-372020 I thought the performance was great! Better than the recorded version but I think that's almost always the case with them...they're just brilliant live.

The performance was great. The interview was nice, they seemed more relaxed and comfortable than usual. However, I could've done without the 'Who'd you rather' portion. Would have preferred a full interview. But it's Ellen, I realize that she likes to have fun.

(Leftover Salmon have been around for years - they bring back memories of the Colorado Bluegrass scene, when I was doing research for a web page for Uncle Earl (an all female Old Time band). Leftover Salmon are a Progressive group, eclectic in style, in somewhat similar vein to The Grateful Dead, Donna the Buffalo, or the Yonder Mountain String Band. He should be a good fit for the Chicks tour!)

She seemed to not say the first quip that came to mind. I thought the Who'd You Rather was funny. I also enjoyed Ellen asking about the boat. Lol

For those in the UK, I've just noticed that the Chicks are on Ellen's show to be aired today on ITV2 at 1.50. Presumably this is the same show that aired last week in the US, so you can see it all again, but this time actually on the TV!
