Having made Into The Blue one of the best album releases of any musical genre in 2019, California-born Americana singer/songwriter Alice Wallace, who now divvies up her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, has come out with a stripped-down version of Linda Ronstadt's 1970 classic "Long Long Time". The song has been a long-standing favorite of Alice's, as has Linda herself (not too surprising there). Linda's original recording, made at Cinderella Studios in Nashville in January 1970 with members of Area Code 615 (Music City's equivalent of L.A.'s Wrecking Crew), was released on her album Silk Purse, and peaked at #25 on the Hot 100 in October of that same year. It also netted Linda the first of twenty-seven Grammy nominations: www.wideopencountry.com/alice-wallace-long-long-time/
