Found this video on CYH Twitter. Didn't really like this song much until I saw them play it. Maybe this is a band you just have to see live to really appreciate. I notice they have Charlie Sexton playing guitar. Apparently he's been touring with them for a time. Cool beans! Again I apologize for not knowing how to post video. video.billboard.com/services/player/bcpid75590052001?bckey=AQ~~,AAAAAEMcC3Y~,NII8yi9nN4xZN8SfGa7p6XQzUdagt0bx&bctid=2575130050001

Thanks for the videos, Sue. I don't think that link is working, but the full address of the Billboard article is: www.billboard.com/articles/columns/the-615/5362269/watch-court-yard-hounds-rock-amelita-tracks-talk-album-dixie-chicks"Rock All Night" is the second video - there's also "Amelita" and an interview. I'd agree that they're better live - there's more atmosphere, more engagement and more spirit. I've been a big supporter of the Hounds becoming a permanent band, and was pleased that they again made that clear in the interview. I have to confess, though, that I'm still having a bit of a struggle to get fully enthusiastic about this second album - at this stage, my feeling is that's it's not really what I wanted personally, but I badly want it to fulfill enough of their own expectations to make it worthwhile them continuing. I definitely get the impression that they enjoy what they're doing, and that's the main thing. Two points from the interview - they seemed to be saying that they wanted to move on from Bluegrass festivals - so a return in that direction seems unlikely, at least in the immediate future; and (given their family responsibilities) they seem to be accepting that touring will be fairly limited.

At Lollapalooza they kicked off with "Rock All Night". It seems like they're going to like that song as an opener. And, yes, a lot of tunes sound great, if not better, live. "Watch Your Step" is my personal perfect example. Even internet live vids don't do them justice. You have to be there.
