I'm not sure how I found this but I was pleasantly surprised when (and that) I did!
Recorded by singer-songwriter Amber Rubarth who got together for three days in San Antonio with Martie and Emily to work very very hard on writing some fine new tunes. Yes the cartwheels in front of The Alamo as well as the snow cones are a very important (and often neglected) part of crafting the perfect chorus.
New music will be revealed in the near future. Until then, here is documentation of just some of the very very hard work leading to the creation of these new songs.

Thanks for that find.
Amber Rubarth is full of fun - her songs are often described as whimsical. What I've heard tends to be light and bouncy, and I'd guess you'd call them Pop-Folk (rather than Rootsy in sound). She often appears with a band called Paper Raincoat

They are so freaking adorable. I love their half-assed attempts at cart wheels! haha.
