My local PBS station had a James Taylor and Carole King concert which made me pull out my CMT Crossroads DVD and watch James and the Chicks singing. Watching them sing with JT made me realize just how much I miss hearing them sing and performing on stage..... When Natalie sings "Sweet Baby James" it gives me shivers..... Such a beautiful rendition with JT...

How very strange! Because yesterday I watched exactly the same CMT recording and I started at "Sweet Baby James"!

how funny that the 3 of us... all found the song and played it on the same day... No matter where we are.... the music brings us together!

The Chicks actually sang some of JT's great songs even better than him. Remember, they also had the special with him on PBS. It's often played during fundraisers, and footage of it, or their interview for that project, is probably still accessed at PBS online.

The Chicks/JT Crossroads and PBS special make me miss the Chicks, and wow me all over again at their amazing talents. They really are great together. They were wonderful with JT!!!
I want them back as a group. I've bought the two recently released compilations (best of) of their music because I want them back in any way I can get them.
