Court Yard Hounds, Court Yard Hounds (May 4)\ Lowdown: After nailing the Grammy trifecta of best album, record and song in 2007, the Dixie Chicks needed a break. One year into the trio's hiatus, Natalie Maines remained happily sidelined, but sisters Emily Robison and Martie Maguire felt creatively restless. The duo hatched this fresh project, named aftera fictional book cited in David Benioff's novel City of Thieves. Robison wrote and sings most of the confessional country, folk and pop-rock songs, many composed during her divorce from singer/songwriter Charlie Robison. Highlights: A strong sense of Texas permeates Skyline, The Coast and See You in the Spring, a duet with Jakob Dylan that finds a couple adjusting to climate incompatibilities. Romantic moods veer from heartbreak in April's Love to bewitchment in Fairytale. And while Hounds rarely howls, the duo bares its teeth on the rocker Ain't No Son. www.usatoday.com/life/music/news/2010-04-27-albumpreview27_CV_N.htm

"And while Hounds rarely howls, the duo bares its teeth on the rocker Ain't No Son." AWESOME. hahha. It's good to see they're getting some press even though they're not doing ANYTHING to promote this.
