I'm usually pretty good at picking singles and "It Didn't Make A Sound" is the best of the bunch, especially if you're talking about just broad appeal. I don't know how much Emily and Natalie had to do with picking out the first single, but it's possible, because they seem to be rolling out slowly, that they were building up to "It Didn't Make A Sound" with another good pick, "The Coast." Again, I'm not plugged into what kind of strategy the CYH have or what radio plays, but if "It Didn't Make A Sound" can get enough spins on radio, it could really catapult this album to a place it seems like no one is predicting.

I love IDMAS and think it would have been a better first single. Although I really like "The Coast" it seems too mellow especially when they are trying establish themselves. I think it may get lost in the shuffle. IDMAS is catchier and it helps it has a video, eventhough is just making the cd footage.

I wonder if the video online will be released as an official music video? Might as well, since its already made.

Emily and Martie, not Natalie. I know it was a slip. I agree with sam...."the coast" is way to ordinary for a good first single.
