Also I'd like to add that while I appreciate bailey offering the special download link to the video....I've been asked to remove it. Even though it is "free", Amazon is counting the downloads which reflects on the CYH ability to generate traffic for their new music. It is in the best interest of the CYH that the downloads count from Amazon's site.

The video and the song are wonderful. Anybody recognize the little girl in the beginning? I think Martie's little girl was there, but who is it in the beginning, she's looks older. I love the piano, the whole song is fun.

Yup, the little girl that Martie is holding onto in the end of the video looks the same as the one in the "girl behind the chair" debate a while ago from Kim's blog.
I love the song and the video. I will have to check when I get home to make sure I downloaded it correctly.

So jealous! Can't download it! I can't understand why anyone outside the US can't download! I'm finding all this Court Yard Hounds business with "free" downloads and exclusives a little tough to chew! Am a huge fan but feeling 2nd rate!

I saw Harper and the twins, but this kid looks about 10 and is playing the guitar.

There seems to be two different versions of the video - unless I'm losing my mind. There is a version on the amazon website that you can stream and the one you can download. On the one that you stream from amazon - there is a clip with the twins but also I think another clip of Martie as well. On the download version it seems to be taken out. It's around the 13 second mark. Also the extra clip of Martie is slightly before that.
I'm wondering if there are other clips that differ that I haven't caught yet. Anyone else notice this?

I compared them side by side and there are a couple differences within the first 40 seconds. So we DO have two slightly different versions of this video.

If you go on Amazon site - click the "It Doesn't Make a Sound" + video album. Scroll a little down - and the video is on the page to play/stream. (The video is also on the page for pre-order of the full length album due in May). In this version there is a clip of the twins and Harper at around 13 seconds. There is also an extra clip of Martie I believe.
If you download the video to your computer - instead of the clip of the twins there is a clip of Martie and Emily posing for a photo shoot - Martie has her arm leaning on Emily's shoulder. This replaces the twin clip.
These clips on either version are found right after the clip with Jakob Dylan but right before the clip of someone holding a cell phone.
Also worth mentioning in both videos the second verse of the song is cut out and replace with a piano solo. I personally wish they would have kept the second verse and just extended the video to include the piano part.
Hope that helps.

This is a great song and a beautifully crafted video. It comes over as very refreshing and shows the affection of true sisterhood.

So jealous! Can't download it! I can't understand why anyone outside the US can't download! I'm finding all this Court Yard Hounds business with "free" downloads and exclusives a little tough to chew! Am a huge fan but feeling 2nd rate! It's a never-ending problem on the Internet, and it is very annoying. But, to be fair, it probably isn't the Hounds fault, or their management's, or even (primarily) Amazon's. It's likely to be the record company - and they impose this as a condition of their agreement with Amazon. The reasoning is likely to be that they think they can earn more money by striking separate licensing deals with a range of distribution outlets in different regions - and they adopt this general principle even where another licensing deal never actually gets signed. The result is that material is often very unevenly available in different markets. Restrictions are more common with "major" record labels - but as these dominate the market, most large legal download sites go along with the restrictions. The policy is partly self-defeating (because it encourages personal recording, file sharing and use of unofficial sites which don't have licensing agreements). Some artists condone this, as long as it's not done for profit (one, whom I'll leave nameless, sent me a message recently saying "glad you were able to get it!"). Some fan bases are active in finding ways round it. On one "major" fan base I know well , they have a scheme called "adopt an international fan", where individual fans agree to pair up with a regular poster from overseas and supply that person with any material that is regionally restricted. This is facilitated by the moderators, who provide a thread for it, and the artist herself has never objected to it. I'd like to thank both Bailey, for offering to help, and Nancy for all the hard work she undertakes in making a vast range of material as widely available as possible, without encroaching on the artists' genuine commercial interests.
