When the Court Yard Hounds album is released (in May), this is the chart on which I'd hope to see them soon reaching the upper reaches. Many of the artists on it perform broadly similar music; many are Austin based; some have performed with the Chicks, or commented favourably on the Chicks. Some of the songs (especially "Ain't No Son" and "Delight") fit pretty naturally into this format. The chart is issued each Monday - here's a link: americanaradio.org/ama/displaychart_beforetracks.asp?mode=lw&dtkey=

They've debuted at number 38 (with 195 spins on 20 stations so far)
The nearest comparison would probably be with Red Molly (who've been out about a month). They are currently at number 4

I'd like to know which stations in the NE are playing them so we can get them some airtime.

This week, theyve moved up to 25
(That is not as big a move as I'd have hoped - I really do wish they could bring themselves to be more positive about promoting themselves actively to radio. Chat shows are all very well - but radio still matters. These AMA reporting stations may seem small - but they have a much bigger internet audience)
They are being played on 25 of these stations - (to put that in perspective, the largest total on this chart is for Carrie Rodriguez, with 53 reporting stations)
The Hounds have had a total of 354 airtime spins on AMA stations so far.

dropped to #40 already. They are not doing a very good job of promoting the song

They've risen four places to 21 on the Americana radio chart (for comparison, the Chicks' last album, TTLW reached their top ten, without any formal promotion)
The Hounds have had a total of 532 radio spins in this format so far

Back up to #38 on Triple A, although they lost spins

Number 16 this week on the AMA chart. That's a rise of just one place (so the momentum has rather stalled, I'm afraid)
As mentioned before, "The Coast" was probably not the best lead release for this market (and may indeed have been chosen with more general appeal in mind). Nevertheless , the album has had 918 total spins in this format so far (191 in the last week alone)

I also think they need to do more radio interviews.

I think that would definitely help. I remember talking to a DJ with a country station when the last Chicks cd came out and they said they wished the Chicks would have gone on a radio tour. It would have done a lot to increase interest with radio

I heard "Ain't No Son" on Sirrus New Country a few days ago. I was surprised. It sounded great.

An update - they did rise one more place to 15 on the AMA radio chart, but then began to fall, and have just left the top twenty.
Nevertheless, their total number of radio spins stands at 1453 in this format - and I think that's quite impressive for an album that doesn't seem to have had any formal promotion there. (For comparison, it's more in total so far than Hank III, who is currently one place above them, and more than Cadillac Sky, currently one place below them)
