How about this one? Members have to name songs where a job or occupation is mentioned in the song or title (but NOT in the name of the performer(s)). As with some other previous games in this section of the board, the idea is that only one song can be mentioned in each post, and the same member cannot make consecutive nominations.
Other “rules”: - “Queen” and “King” are deemed NOT to be jobs or occupations, as they are (largely) hereditary and there are probably countless songs including these words anyway!
- It has to be a job or occupation and NOT a place of work.
- The job or occupation has to be mentioned as a NOUN (and NOT a verb). To be perfectly clear, in order for the song to be valid, the job/occupation must be able to answer the question "What is your job/occupation?" with "I am a/an ............." (fill in the blank).
- The same job or occupation can be included more than once, provided that the song involved is different each time.
- The same song CAN be included more than once, but ONLY IF it is for a 2nd (or subsequent) job or occupation. Only one occupation within that song can be mentioned in each post. In other words, if a song has, say, 3 jobs mentioned in it, then that would entail 3 separate posts.
- Where the same song is performed by different artists, that song can only be mentioned once (unless 2nd or subsequent mentions are for a 2nd or subsequent job/occupation)
Hopefully, that’s all clear.
So, I’ll set the ball rolling with:
Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty

Tony, that's a definite yellow card offence - 2 "entries" in a row! Also, whilst this may not have been made totally clear in my initial post, I was really looking for jobs/occupations that are mentioned in songs as a NOUN rather than a VERB. I'll edit my first post to clarify this from now on. Apologies for any lack of clarity on this (Don't worry, I will shoot myself when I log off by way of a punishment). Moving on...
