Here’s a variation on previous Candy Land games that may be of interest. The “instructions” for the game are as follows:
- The idea is to come up with songs which specifically mention a famous person (or famous people). The person’s name must be mentioned in full in the song unless that person is normally only known by one name (e.g. composers, Prince, etc.). (BTW, in the case of Prince, it would have to be him that is mentioned rather than any common or garden prince!)
- Please include the song, singer and famous person mentioned in the song in each post.
- If a song mentions more than one famous person, that song can be used once for each different famous person mentioned.
- One famous person only per post please.
- No consecutive posts (naming famous people) to be submitted by the same board member please.
- Please try to avoid repetitions. If the thread becomes quite long, I shall post an update of the songs/famous people mentioned to assist people.
